Following its live debut over the weekend at the 2026 ‘Welcome To Rockville‘ festival in Daytona Beach, FL, Breaking Benjamin‘s new single “Something Wicked” has officially arrived online. The multi-platinum hard rockers launched the studio version of that single across streaming platforms tonight, May 12th.
The band said of the track:
“‘Something Wicked‘ is a quick look into our influences both musically and thematically. We challenged ourselves especially hard on this record and on this song. We pushed every boundary we’ve previously had as far as it will go, then pushed a little more. ‘Something Wicked‘ was the result.”
It’s the latest tease from their forthcoming new studio album which they have yet to disclose the details for. Last weekend’s aforementioned festival appearance also saw the band welcome a new participant to their lineup, having recruited Brian Medeiros (Ex-RED/Otherwise, etc.) as their new drummer. Breaking Benjamin will return to the stage this Thursday, May 14th to perform at the ‘Sonic Temple: Art & Music Festival‘ in Columbus, OH.
