Texan groove metallers Upon A Burning Body have been forced off the road after members of their camp contracted COVID-19. A statement issued by the band today, August 29th, explained the situation as follows:
“IMPORTANT UPDATE
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances and the safety of others, we will not be playing the remainder of the ‘Strike & Kill Tour“.
Some of our camp has tested positive for COVID and it just wouldn’t be right to continue putting everyone else at risk.
We are sorry, and it hurts us to not be able to play these shows. We promise to make it up to everyone soon.
Thank you for understanding.
-UABB & CREW”
The band had been out as direct support to DevilDriver on the ongoing ‘Strike And Kill Tour‘, which finds Ov Sulfur opening. That trek is scheduled to run through to September 05th.
